A VERY SIMPLE SCREEN LID FOR INSECT BOXES

This is what I do when making screen lids for RubberMaid type boxes for housing crickets and kingworms

Cut four pieces of 1" X 1" to length (allow each end to be as long as the width of the other piece).
Rebate each end by half it's depth and as long as it's own width.
Dry position them together and check for fit by putting the box upside down inside the 'rectangle'
Glue the ends together (you can staple them to hold them while the glue dries).
Lay Aluminum Screen (window/ patio door screening is nice and fine and strong enough) over the frame you have made and staple it in place. Trim the screen to size
You have a simple screen!
