I now have a new design, that allows you to clip the harness onto your BD but leave the leash off until you are ready to go outside (very usefull in the car!)
To make this new design, you will still need some nice soft leather (I use old wallet and handbag leather, which you can get at thrift stores) and a Ferret Harness by Hagen, which will provide you with the clip and a 'D'-Ring to attach the leash (which comes with the harness!)

YOU WILL NEED:-

• A piece of THIN, SOFT leather
  
• A length of woven nylon string (like bootlace material) about 3' long
  
• A spring-loaded toggle (sold for draw string pants and for camping bags)
  
• Something to cut and make holes in leather with
