Pogona vitticeps Info Page
Here is the temperature data covering the range of the vitticeps in Australia. I converted the temperatures from Celcius to Fahrenheit; rounding up or down to the nearest degree.
This information has been taken from the web site of the Australian Bureau of Meteorology. Information on the actual range of the various pogona species can be found here.

The distribution as noted in Reptiles and Amphibians of Australia as the Interior of all Eastern continental states to the eastern half of South Australia and south-eastern Northern Territory. Following is a table compiled from data found on the Meteorology Web site and represents average maximum and minimum temperatures throughout the vitticeps range.

It would appear that the hottest average is 96.8 F. This is in the middle of the day where most critters would be underground. I would guess that 80% of that figure would be a fair figure, which brings the summer maximum down to around or 84F. Pogona vitticeps were seen on a recent trip to South Australia around August quite happily sunning themselves. As can be seen, the average temp for this month is about 71F.
