Bill Mears

This site is dedicated to the beloved memory of Bill Mears, Ontario, Canada, the original founder of the Bearded Dragon Breeders And Suppliers Network. Bill dedicated his life to promoting that this species had the best possible future and advantages in captivity.

The breeders that have joined this, his network, have committed to the same quality and care of the dragons and their offspring that Bill practiced himself. They continue to honor that pledge to him and the wonderful babies that are produced by them.

Bill also owned Borderview Dragons and had invaluable information on his breeder's website, that the industry wanted to preserve. Many other websites link to his articles and acknowledged throughout the industry as excellent sources of information. His breeding business was closed after he passed away in June 2005, but his information has been transferred to this site, the Breeders Network that he also developed and will be maintained in his memory and for the well being of the dragons, which he would have wanted.
